About Me
Originally from the Isle of Wight, I have since lived in London and spent five years in Australia. I have been working in the travel industry for the last 10 years progressing from a tailor-made travel specialist to a team leader. During this time, I was predominantly a specialist in Asia which included city breaks, river cruises, island hopping and wildlife and food-themed trips. I later added Africa to my specialist destinations and also have experience in selling holidays to Australia, New Zealand and USA holidays.
My Travel Experience
It was my time in Australia where I developed the travel bug. Whilst living there, I took advantage of took advantage of being able to explore Australia, New Zealand and The South Pacific. Since then, I have travelled to over 60 countries which have incorporated a multitude of experiences. It is important for me to visit destinations that offer a variety of experiences as I love the outdoors and adventurous holidays but also the chance to chill on a beautiful beach. I have travelled extensively throughout Asia absorbing as much culture as possible as well as enjoying the wide variety of cuisines. I have experienced safaris through South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania which I simply cannot get enough of. I've visited over 30 states in the US, mainly via self-drives to get the opportunity to see the country from the open road. I have experienced group tours in Egypt, Jordan, Costa Rica, Brazil and Kenya.
My Favourite Experience
My favourite destinations that I have visited would have to be Japan, Vietnam and Costa Rica.
Japan has everything I enjoy including bustling cities, stunning landscapes, exciting food options as well as the people of Japan being so friendly and helpful.
Vietnam for the pure range of fascinating activities, from elegant river cruises to mind-opening food tours to beautiful beaches, Vietnam can certainly keep you busy if you wish.
Costa Rica for the adventurous side in me as well as nonstop wildlife and gorgeous beaches.

If you are looking for your experience to include a beach element, try and add that at the end part of the holiday for a great opportunity to relax and reflect.
