BOTSWANA'S OKAVANGO DELTA

Introduction

Spend 7-days in the incredible Okavango Delta, a watery paradise and grasslands that provide a haven for its myriad of wildlife. Game drives, bush walks and mokoro rides are staple experiences within the delta and are led by expert guides and with small numbers to create an intimate safari experience. Your time will be split across two camps, the first in the heart of the delta, perfect for discovering the complex ecosystems, whilst the latter part of the itinerary is spent in Khwai, which marks the northernmost boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and boast its own spectacular wildlife. 

Day-by-Day

Day 1 - 3: Oddball's Camp

On the edge of Chief’s Island and bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, your first nights in Botswana are spent smack bang in the middle of the Okavango Delta. The Oddballs’ Camp provides basic but comfortable tented accommodation with an unparalleled emphasis on providing an intensely personal experience of the African bush. Here, game drives, mokoro rides and guided walks form the fundaments to help you experience one of the world’s largest and most intricate wetlands. 

Day 4 - 6: Sango Safari Camp

Take a short flight to Khwai, still within the Okavango Delta reserve and nestled between the Moremi, Linyanti and Chobe game reserves. The region has a spectacularly rich biodiversity and situates on a natural elephant migration route, that stretches from the Okavango Delta, through the Khwai River and on to the Savute Marsh. Staying at the Sango Safari Camp, the labyrinth of waterways, islands and grasslands of Khwai are explored on foot, by boat and mokoro, all led by the immensely experienced guides of the camp.
