Introduction
This action packed 13-day safari holiday in the famous national parks and reserves of Kenya and Tanzania. Explore the Maasai Mara rich in wildlife, the Amboseli National Park with the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance, the Serengeti with its exceptional, year-round wildlife and of course the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Crater.
Day-by-Day
Day 1 - 2: Narobi, Kenya
Arrive in Nairobi and meet your driver/guide at the airport, who will transfer you to the Serena Nairobi Hotel for 1 night, with breakfast and dinner included.
Day 2 - 4: Amboseli National Park, Kenya
Arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch, where spectacular views of Mt Kilimanjaro and the open savannah plains stretch into the distance. Enjoy game drives in one of Kenya’s most popular game parks, where elephants, lion, cheetah, giraffe and hippos can be seen.
Day 4 - 7: Maasai Mara, Kenya
Travel by light aircraft to the Maasai Mara and enjoy a game drive en-route to The Mara Serena Lodge, located deep within the Maasai Mara National Reserve and set high on a bush-cloaked hill it ensures spectacular views over the rolling grasslands.
Day 7 - 10: Serengeti, Tanzania
Then head to the Serengeti in Tanzania, where an abundance of wildlife roams the vast plains all year, but from July to October the natural spectacle of more than two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle cross the grasslands, stalked by their predators. Stay at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, located high on a tree clad ridge with spectacular views across the Serengeti.
Day 10 - 13: Ngorongoro, Tanzania
Then, the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater awaits, with 3 nights at the Serena Safari Lodge, perched on the rim of this collapsed volcano to provide front row seats to the drama unfolding below.
