Day-by-Day
Day 1 - 3: Cape Town
Arrive at the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, where arts and culture meet world class cuisine and breath-taking views. A tour of the city includes panoramic views from the top of Table Mountain, a stroll through the aviaries and fishponds of Company Gardens and a visit to the Slave Lodge. Take a full day private tour for a stunning coastal drive out to the Cape of Good Hope and visit the famous penguins on Boulders Beach. Stay in a luxury two bedroom family suite at More Quarters.
Day 4 & 5: Cape Winelands
After collecting the car in Cape Town head out of the city to the first stop - the picturesque Cape Winelands, where a beautiful orchard cottage is the perfect family spot for the next two nights. Walk or cycle the mountain paths and swim in the dams. A farm tour is included with your stay, along with a bottle of wine and daily farm fresh breakfast. Stay in a two bedroom Orchards Cottage at Boschendal.
Day 6 & 7: Hermanus Lagoon
On to The Overberg, an area to the east of Cape Town beyond the Hottentots-Holland Mountains. The area is known for its many farms, verdant vineyards and the coastal riviera filled with charming towns. Spend two nights at the Lake Lagoon Lodge, nestled in the Milkwood trees on the edge of Hermanus Lagoon.
Day 8 - 9: The Garden Route
The Garden Route awaits, with endless beaches lapped by thundering seas, peaceful trails meander through the rocky coastline and through the verdant forests, with pretty towns along the route including Knysna & Plettenberg Bay. Spend two nights in a family suite at Hunters Country House, complete with outdoor Boma for high tea and sparkling swimming pool.
Day 10 - 12: Eastern Cape - Lalibela Private Game Reserve
Finally, stay in a family suite at Lalibela Marks Camp in the Malaria free Eastern Cape, where thatched chalets overlook a waterhole and twice daily game drives reveal the full splendour of this location. With a kid friendly program available, two pools and a large common lounge area, this is the perfect camp for families.
Day 13: Port Elizabeth Airport
Return the car at Port Elizabeth and catch the return flight home.
